Lee and Shelley Davies and their dogs, Riggs and Molly, welcome you to their small working farm for this years venue. They have a total of 15 acres where they keep a variety of animals from chickens, ducks, Sheep, Gloucester Old Spot pigs and Red Poll Cows.
There is a beautiful orchard to wander in and plenty of space to have fun, whilst being aware of their animals. Lee farms hand makes all of their produce full time and Shelley runs her own Post Office and small store.
Produce is sold on site and they are proud of the reputation many of their products have achieved.
At the time of Wadfest eating apples, plums and blackberries should be ready to pick and you are welcome to pick your own to take away.
Friendly dogs are welcome but MUST be on leads at all times.
Lee would be happy to show you around his animals during your stay by prior arrangement and give you a chance to feed them as well as collect eggs from our ducks and chickens. They currently have a special piglet called Chip who is very friendly and as he was born a runt and will always remain on the farm. Chip loves being tickled so kids and adults will love him.
We are a short walk from two shops, a Post Office and a pub or just a few miles from the capital of the fens Wisbech where you will find most of the facilities and shops you may want as well as national trust properties and beautiful architecture.
There is a bus service in our village into wisbech. Kings Lynn is a historic city and worth a visit at around half an hour away by car. Sandringham is also not far away by car at around forty five minutes and just a bit further you are at the beautiful Norfolk coast with many great places to visit. You also have Ely at around 20 miles away where you can visit the beautiful cathedral or walk along the river.
We are a registered food business with the highest hygiene rating. So over your stay we are able to offer you various produce from the raw ingredients for you to cook to our own full English cooked for you, or burgers ( lamb, beef, pork and apple or
